Innovation lecture for Production Engineering and Management students

To create meeting points between the academic world and the industry, The Research Hub organizes lectures both at universities and at the company facilities – also virtually! On April 19th, the theme was innovation strategies and innovation team shaping, presented for master students in Production Engineering and Management , Consorzio Universitario di Pordenone. The Double Degree Master Study Program is a joint program between the University of Applied Sciences Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Germany and the University of Trieste in Italy and has students from all over the world.

The students got an introduction to the area of innovation and holding the lecture was Viktoria Roos, Open Innovation Leader in Electrolux Professional.

– The coronavirus pandemic has put innovation in the spotlight like never before. We’ve seen improved processes, supply chain breakthroughs and new ways of collaborating in record time as well as a higher digitalization in response. Having the possibility to share my experience in innovation with an international group of students, as well as hearing their view on the current development and changes in society linked to this area led to very inspiring discussions, says Viktoria Roos.

The Research Hub has a close collaborations with several European universities and research centers and together we work to strengthen the interaction between academia and industry. Read more about our other collaboration partners here.
